Acting in the Short Film “Headshot” posted by on April 1, 2009

Needless to say acting is a tough career and sometimes following your dreams means surviving your worst nightmares. One of the hardest challenges to deal with when pursing acting, is facing rejection and moving forward with confidence no matter what happens. It’s a numbers game and the trick is to do your best when you get the chance to shine, to “stay in the moment,” even when you know it’s back to pounding the pavement when your acting job is completed.

I got a role in Evan Nicholas’ short film “Headshot” and documented my day of filming, facing my fears, and then sharing with my viewers the final product – a fun film that deals with the very theme so many actors face. A film about how sometimes no matter how great of an actor you are, that doesn’t mean you are “right” for the part.
