Andie Mills Ventures into the Work Place posted by on April 6, 2009

Some of my favorite videos stemmed from real life experiences. When I got called into jury duty I immediately started brainstorming how I could film parts of the experience for my comedy channel LifeWithBabs. I did my time as a juror and I walked away with this little gem of a video about Andie mistaking jury duty for employment.

And of course I had to continue Andie’s job search a couple weeks later with this video about her booking a job as a “high fashion model.”

Andie Visits Her Optimist posted by on March 21, 2009

After a couple of months on YouTube I found myself supported by a community of fellow YouTube users and one of them, Sean Hollick, had a channel called “5 Awesome Optimists”. He asked if I would like to do a guest video to be featured on there channel. So I came up with a video about Andie confusing the word Optimist with Optometrist. I had tons of fun shooting this video, my favorite was featuring my real eye doctor, Mr. Gross (that is his real name and I think he would also appreciate it if I mention that he is actually a ophthalmologist playing the role of an optometrist in the following video).

Excavating American Dreams on Route 66 posted by on February 7, 2009

I started 2009 off right with an amazing road trip up historic Route 66 with a group of talented gals. We loaded up our photography and film gear and hit the road. Thousands of miles and dozens of double shot lattes later we ended up with a ton of amazing photos and footage. We still haven’t decided what to do with the media we shot, but if you want to view my photos of the trip scroll down and you will find links to a couple of my online albums.

Getting Professional for Sundance 2009 posted by on January 19, 2009

As some of you may know my brother Jonathan Price is an amazing artist and graphic designer. I approached him in January 2009 to help me design a business card for my newly formed YouTube channel LifeWithBabs.

I sent him photos and asked him to design something that looks girly and homemade. He came up with this fab design and I’ve been using it ever since.

Happy Halloween from Little Dead Riding Hood posted by on October 31, 2008

When I first posted this video, Andie confesses that she only has 250 total views, now with over 55,112 views it’s fun to look back on the channel’s start.

Andie Mills is all dressed up for a wild night of “debauchery and mayhem” but soon confesses that she is actually spending Halloween alone on YouTube because her BFF Babs has ditched her to hang out with her boyfriend, Kip.

A Girl, a Camera, and a “Knock Off” Barbie Doll posted by on October 26, 2008

After spending a day watching some very entertaining videos by the talented girls of Whatever Hollywood I was upset. Upset, because I wanted to do the same thing – take my acting career into my own hands instead of waiting around for auditions. But unlike these girls, whose talents complemented one another (one’s an editor, one’s an actress, and one’s a singer/songwriter), I was alone. It was just me, my camera and my laptop. But then came Babs… Originally I thought of acting against a blow up doll, but then a good friend of mine suggested a Barbie and I hit Walgreens in search of a knock off Barbie doll and I found a Miss Lovely Patsy doll from China for 8 dollars a pop.  And that was the start of the enduring friendship of Andie Mills and Babs Darling – Besties for life!

Andie and Babs’s first adventure was a road trip to Las Vegas Nevada. But not for a girl’s “vacay” as Andie hoped, but to help Babs canvass for Presidential hopeful Barrack Obama.

Discovering my DigiLife posted by on September 1, 2008

For my birthday my father-in-law bought me a DigiLife DDV-5120A. I have yet to find something as cool as this little guy as it had a flip screen so I could view what I was shooting even when the camera lens was pointed at me.

The first day I started using this camera l played around with some of the settings and made three short experimental flims. To view all of them visit Trina Posey on YouTube where I post my art and experimental videos.

It all started with some photography classes… posted by on June 25, 2008

Before I had 3 YouTube channels, 3 short films and tons of pictures and video cluttering up 4 external hard drives, I was studying photography at Santa Monica College and I made this photography film to the Shel Silverstein poem Sick for one of my final projects.
