Back It Up Pearl posted by on August 6, 2013

I’ve had my precious Prius Pearl since 2007 and all these years I’ve been obsessed with the back up camera. So much so that after wrapping my short film “Pearl” DP Jen May and I decided to drive down the Hollywood Hills in reverse and attempt to shoot the back up camera screen with her 5D. We covered the 5D with black cardboard and here is the result. The footage did not make it into the film (often what I find aesthetically pleasing is apparently NOT. As I am often reminded by my producer husband), but it’s fun to finally look at the footage and share it with anyone out there that has a similar obsession with their back up camera…anybody… I think it’s probably time to get a wide angle lens and start shooting with it instead of fantasizing about driving around in reverse while I shoot the screen in my car.

iPhonedo Fun posted by on March 31, 2013

I was recently in a collab with the YouTube channel iPhonedo – technology reviews for Turkey. It was a super fun shoot and although I don’t speak Turkish, from what I can SEE it seems pretty funny. Check it out. 🙂

AND iPhonedo used some of the footage to make this GarageBand music video. Very cool:

What taxes? posted by on March 2, 2013

The grandparents are in town so Jesse and I decided to go to his office to do our taxes. Let’s just say I’m hard at work. Hard at work analyzing how my sweater makes me look like a matronly librarian type while I spin around the room. Let’s just say I’m not the paperwork type and I’m avoiding my very intricate receipt filing system. Which consists of wading up all my paperwork into a tiny little box and then sorting each meaningless scrap the day before my taxes are due.

Post Baby Post posted by on October 24, 2012

I’m still on my version of maternity leave, meaning “on a break from posting videos on my various YouTube channels while I feed baby from my booby.” And as many of you know an internet addict like me can’t quit cold turkey, so of course I have adjusted all my social networking settings so that in one click from my iPhone I can post random home videos to all my various sites. Good times. Click below to watch videos from Mommyland, or as Jesse likes to call it “The Dairy Farm”.

This past weekend Jesse, BOB, Domino and I drove up the coast to my home town, the Santa Ynez Valley. Check out footage from my girlfriend’s baby shower (she’s due August 29, only ONE day from me!) and of the beautiful HWY 101 coastline.
